About BNI

Welcome to the website for BNI of the Heartland, LLC, serving Nebraska and Western Iowa, where we offer members the opportunity to share ideas, contacts and most importantly, business referrals. We currently have over 650 members in 29 chapters, and in 2009 our members passed over 21,000 referrals which generated over $9.3 million in business. That's $435 per referral, and 33 referrals per person, making the average seat worth nearly $15000.

BNI is the largest business networking organization in the world. Belonging to BNI is like having dozens of sales people representing your business, and in return you are representing their business. BNI is based on the philosophy: Givers Gain. In 2009, BNI members, worldwide, passed over 5.6 million referrals, in over 5500 chapters, with over 125,000 members, in 43 countries, which resulted in more than $2.3 billion in business, worldwide!

Chapters Forming

In Sarpy County, we have a new chapter forming on Wednesdays from 11:30am-1pm at Holiday Inn and Suites located at 10804 S 15th Street in Bellevue.

In Lincoln we have new chapters forming on Mondays from 11:30am - 1pm at Hy-Vee on 50th and O, and on Wednesdays from 11:30am - 1pm at Ruby Tuesdays at 56th and Hwy 2.

We also have a new chapter forming in Beatrice on Wednesdays from 7:30am-9am at Colleen's Catering located at 3200 N 6th Street, Suite 3 in Beatrice.

We are currently looking for professionals in the Kearney, Grand Island and Hastings area, as well as Fremont, Norfolk and Columbus, South Sioux City, and Scottsbluff areas to get a new chapter formed in your area. Please contact our office for more information.

Recent Events

Congratulations to the 2010 BNI of the Heartland Member Extravaganza winner, Mark Gottula!  Mark is a member of the Profit Powerhouse chapter of BNI in Lincoln, NE. He has won a four day, three night trip for two to New Orleans. He will have the opportunity to meet the Founder and Chairman of BNI, Dr. Ivan Misner, at a workshop/breakfast. Congratulations Mark!
